Cyclist dies after being struck by two vehicles in Montreal’s Hochelaga last week

A cyclist died in hospital a week after being struck by two vehicles in the Hochelaga neighbourhood.

The 38-year-old was was traveling east on a bike path along Notre-Dame Street on June 9.

Shortly before 4 p.m., he was hit by a first vehicle while crossing Davidson Street.

The cyclist was then hit again by another car headed in the opposite direction.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the man lying on the ground.

He was transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries a week later.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
