A collision between a pickup truck and an e-scooter rider occurred on a Friday afternoon at approximately 3:50 p.m. near the intersection of Westminster Highway and Minoru Boulevard in Richmond, according to police reports.
Cpl. Melissa Lui, the media relations officer, stated, “The e-scooter rider sustained injuries and is currently being transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.”
Authorities have informed that the investigation is still at an early stage and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses dashcam footage to reach out to the Richmond RCMP, quoting file number 2026-21789.
