An incident unfolded on a busy Toronto highway on a Saturday afternoon when a woman lost control of her vehicle and it overturned, leading to her arrest for impaired driving.
The commotion drew emergency responders to the southbound ramp of the Don Valley Parkway, where the vehicle had overturned, just before 1:30 p.m. following reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Paramedics attended the scene and attended to a woman in her late 30s, who was subsequently transferred to a local trauma center for treatment of minor injuries.
Subsequent investigations revealed that the driver was arrested for impaired driving and was then taken to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
