62-Year-Old Pedestrian Critically Injured in Harrowing Streetcar Collision in Toronto

On a Friday evening, a 62-year-old person was quickly taken to the hospital after being hit by a TTC streetcar.

The incident occurred at the intersection of King Street East and St. Lawrence Street around 6:30 p.m., prompting emergency responders to the scene due to a reported personal injury collision.

According to authorities, the pedestrian was walking northbound along the road when the eastbound 504 King streetcar collided with them.

The injured pedestrian was swiftly transported to the hospital with severe injuries.

Law enforcement has confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
