Residents Startled by Overnight Gunshot in Saint-Leonard, Montreal
Montreal police are currently investigating a disturbing incident that occurred in the Saint-Leonard borough late at night. The quiet of the night was shattered when a gunshot rang out, causing several residents in the area to be awakened suddenly.

The authorities, known as the SPVM, were alerted to the situation after receiving a 911 call just before 1 a.m. The report indicated that the gunshot was heard near the intersection of Liénart and La Dauversière streets. Upon arriving at the scene, officers did not find any injured individuals or suspects; however, they did discover a shell casing on the ground.
