An incident unfolded in Toronto’s vibrant Cabbagetown neighborhood on Monday afternoon when a man in his 60s was swiftly taken to the hospital following a collision with a car.
First responders swiftly arrived at the corner of Parliament and Wellesley streets shortly after 12:15 p.m. upon receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics quickly attended to the man, who was then rushed to the hospital due to sustaining serious injuries as a result of the accident.
Fortunately, the driver involved in the incident stayed put and is fully cooperating with the investigating authorities.
