The National Bank Open presented by Rogers men’s tennis tournament in Montreal is facing persistent rain delays, causing disruptions to the schedule.
Due to the continuous rainfall, organizers have delayed the start of Monday’s matches by at least 90 minutes, with a target start time of 12:30 p.m. ET / 9:30 a.m. PT. Sunday saw only two out of 14 planned matches completed due to unfavorable weather conditions.
As a result of the rain delays, Monday’s schedule is packed with matches, raising concerns about completing the first round on time. Despite the challenges, Canadian players Alexis Galarneau and Gabriel Diallo are set to compete on Centre Court in the ATP Masters 1000 event today.
