An investigation is underway by Montreal police regarding a vehicle that was intentionally set ablaze in the St-Leonard borough early one Wednesday morning. The incident occurred on Couture Boulevard near Larin Street, with officers arriving after a resident had already put out the fire. Fortunately, the vehicle sustained only minor damage, and surrounding structures were unharmed.
Upon examining the scene, investigators discovered materials used to start the fire. A witness reported seeing a suspect ignite the vehicle before quickly leaving before the police arrived. The case now falls under the jurisdiction of the Montreal police arson squad, with no arrests made at the current time.
