Co-founder of the festival and DDO city councillor, Errol Johnson, shared, “For 23 years, we’ve been serenading the community with great music and a fantastic atmosphere. What began as a modest event has blossomed over time into the vibrant celebration it is today.”
Described as a community-driven initiative, this year, the festival will join forces with Dorval en fête, creating an even more dynamic experience for attendees.
Mayor of Dorval, Marc Doret, expressed his excitement stating, “The fusion of Dorval en fête and the Blues Fest is a match made in heaven. From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a brief intermission, it promises a spectacular day of festivities in the park.”
Beyond being a day of music and fun, the event also serves a charitable purpose, benefiting organizations like Literacy Unlimited, which uses the proceeds to enhance their literacy and digital programs.
