Early Morning Gunfire in Cloverdale Leaves Man Wounded, Surrey Police Investigating

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is currently investigating a shooting incident that left a man injured in the Cloverdale neighborhood during the early hours of Wednesday.

According to reports, officers responded to a residence near 60 Avenue and 177 Street around 4 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire that resulted in two individuals being shot at.

The suspects involved in the incident had fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Fortunately, the injured man did not require immediate medical attention, as confirmed by the police.

Investigators plan to continue their presence in the area to gather and process evidence throughout Wednesday.

SPS stated, “The investigation is still in its initial phase and appears to be a targeted incident rather than an act of extortion.”
