A tragic incident unfolded in Mont-Tremblant on Tuesday as a woman in her 60s lost her life in a collision involving a recreational vehicle. The deadly crash took place at approximately 5 p.m. on Montée Ryan, close to Chemin Duplessis, as detailed by Laurie Avoine, a representative from the Sûreté du Québec.
Witnesses reported that the two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in severe damage. Despite being rushed to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries, the female driver of the car tragically passed away due to the severity of her injuries.
Fortunately, the three individuals in the recreational vehicle emerged from the incident without any harm. A specialized police officer trained in accident investigation was dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough analysis of the situation.
