Four individuals, including three young people, sustained injuries in a fire that broke out in Toronto’s west end during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at a residence on Boustead Avenue, situated close to the intersection of Roncesvalles Avenue and Bloor Street West, prompting emergency responders to arrive at the scene around 3:15 a.m.
Among the injured, a 16-year-old boy was reported to have suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition at the hospital. Additional family members, including a 51-year-old man, a 14-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old boy, were also hospitalized for treatment due to smoke inhalation.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
