Authorities are currently on the lookout for a 40-year-old woman following an incident at a dog park in Summerhill where her dogs reportedly attacked and injured another person and their pet.
According to officials, the woman and her two dogs were in a designated off-leash section of a dog park near Avenue Road and Roxborough Street on September 12. The dogs managed to escape the enclosed area and allegedly charged at and attacked someone who was walking their dog nearby.
The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the dog faced critical harm as a result of the altercation.
Police are seeking Tanychia Black, who is identified as approximately five-feet-10 with a solid build. She was last spotted wearing a navy-blue hair bonnet, a mustard-coloured hoodie, light pants, and dark shoes with white soles.
Black is wanted on charges of criminal negligence causing bodily harm, two counts of failing to prevent a dog from biting or attacking, and two counts of a dog biting a person or domestic animal.
The dogs in question are described as having dark grey or grey coats, with one of them sporting a white chest. Both dogs are believed to belong to a large breed, possibly pit bull or bull terrier.
