Longueuil police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of pimping in connection with a sexual exploitation case. The suspect, identified as Ricardo Rosemond, was apprehended on Aug. 7 on charges including procuring, human trafficking, and advertising sexual services.
Authorities allege that Rosemond, using the alias “Rico,” met his victim on social media and proceeded to act as her pimp between December 2025 and June 2026. In addition to pimping, he faces charges of material benefit, aggravated assault, and obtaining a material benefit from the provision of sexual services.
The Longueuil police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help identify additional victims or witnesses who may have had contact with the suspect. Rosemond is currently in custody as the investigation unfolds.
