Toronto authorities are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection with a potential hate-motivated attack. Detectives reported that on September 5th, an unidentified man approached a victim near the intersection of Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue, who was holding a Palestinian flag.
The incident, deemed unprovoked by police, involved the suspect pushing the victim while making derogatory comments related to immigrants. The suspect then quickly left the scene, heading southbound on Yonge Street. Described as a man aged between 55 and 60, standing at approximately six feet tall with a heavyset build, the suspect was last spotted donning a grey Nike shirt with the slogan “JUST DO IT,” green shorts, a beige baseball hat, and grey running shoes.
