Vancouver Police Seek Witnesses After Robbery and Stabbing Incident Downtown
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is requesting the public’s help in providing information following a robbery incident that resulted in a man being stabbed in downtown Vancouver on Tuesday night.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Granville and Nelson streets. The victim was confronted by two individuals who allegedly stole his bag and subsequently stabbed him in the arm. The suspects then fled towards the south on Granville Street.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
One of the suspects is described as a young individual with a slender physique, dressed in a green jacket and black pants, carrying a black side bag. The second suspect is described as a young individual with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
