A tragic incident unfolded at CRAB Park in Vancouver early Wednesday morning, marking the city’s sixth homicide of the year. The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is actively investigating the death that occurred at the park situated at 101 E. Waterfront Road.
Reports of a man in medical distress prompted a swift response from the authorities, who rushed to the scene before 7 a.m. Despite the efforts of first responders to save his life, the man tragically passed away.
As of now, the identity of the victim remains unknown, and investigators have yet to identify any suspects related to the case.
VPD homicide detectives are urging anyone who may have been in or around CRAB Park between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday to come forward with any potentially valuable information.
