Authorities in Hamilton have charged a woman for allegedly posing as an educational assistant and being involved in a sexual assault case. The incident took place in September 2025 when the victim’s family thought Karly Tripp, 30, was a legitimate respite worker. Tripp is accused of meeting the victim outside of school, where the alleged offenses occurred.
Karly Tripp has been arrested and is facing charges of sexual assault, voyeurism, and making threats of death by Hamilton police in connection with this case. She is currently in custody for other offenses and was reportedly working deceitfully as an educational assistant within the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board.
Authorities suspect that Tripp may have targeted other vulnerable individuals and fear there could be more victims connected to this case.
