A man in his 40s was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after a scary incident at the Lionel-Groulx station. Reports came in around 11 a.m. that the man had fallen onto the train tracks and was subsequently struck by an STM train car, resulting in serious injuries.
Pierre-Luc Lefrançois, a spokesperson for Urgences-santé, shared that the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The response team included two operations commanders, an advanced-care paramedic, and an ambulance.
Montreal police have stated that there is no suspicion of criminal activity at this time surrounding the incident.
