Two Men Hospitalized, One Clinging to Life, Following Gunshot Incident at CHUM

Two Men Injured in Montreal Shooting Incident
Montreal authorities have reported that a 37-year-old man is in critical condition, while a 36-year-old man is now in stable condition following a shooting incident on Monday. The injured men arrived at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Montréal (CHUM) for treatment.
According to the Montreal police (SPVM), preliminary findings suggest that the shooting occurred near the Anjou interchange. SPVM spokesperson Jeanne Drouin stated that police, along with crime scene technicians and a canine unit, conducted a thorough search for evidence at the junction of Highway 25 north and Highway 40 on Tuesday night.
As part of the investigation, a section of the highway was temporarily closed but has since been reopened. Currently, no arrests have been made, and the police inquiry is ongoing.
