Over the weekend, a significant police operation unfolded in Longueuil, located on Montreal’s South Shore.
The operation was concentrated on Curé-Poirier Boulevard West, spanning between Duvernay and Joliette streets.
As of 3:30 p.m., officers from the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) were still present at the scene, with the local police urging the public to steer clear of the area.
At the time of reporting, the SPAL had not disclosed the specific purpose behind the operation.
