After a clash erupted among a group of individuals in Montreal’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Tuesday evening, a 21-year-old man ended up wounded by a sharp object, as per Montreal police reports.
The incident unfolded around 7:40 p.m. near Avenue Roland-Milette and Avenue Berthe-Louard, prompting a concerned citizen to dial 911 to report the altercation.
Upon police arrival, they discovered the injured young man, who was alert despite sustaining an injury to his upper body.
He was swiftly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, thankfully with no life-threatening harm.
Initial findings point to a dispute among the group that spiraled into violence, leading to the man’s injury.
To safeguard the area, authorities cordoned off the scene, with crime scene investigators promptly stepping in to gather evidence.
