The home of the 2025 Calder Cup champion Abbotsford Canucks has a new name.
Formerly the Abbotsford Centre, the venue is being renamed Rogers Forum as part of a new agreement between the City of Abbotsford, Canucks Sports and Entertainment (CSE) and Rogers Communications.
In a release Thursday, Rogers Communications says the renaming represents a significant expansion of the long-standing partnership between Rogers and the Canucks.
The company already holds the naming rights to Rogers Arena in Vancouver and is the Vancouver Canucks’ official broadcaster.
The Forum is described as the Fraser Valley’s premier venue for sports as the home of the Abbotsford Canucks, youth and adult recreational hockey leagues, concerts, and special performances.
Fans can expect updated signage and new events soon.
Rogers Communications is the parent company of CityNews.
