Vaughan Residence Under Fire: Shot at Four Times in Just Five Months!

York Regional Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Vaughan for the fourth time within a span of five months.

Authorities responded to a report of a shooting at a home on Allison Ann Way early Monday morning. According to reports, a dark SUV approached the residence, and a male suspect, wearing a dark hoodie, fired multiple shots at the house before fleeing towards Queen Fiolmena Avenue.

Const. James Dickson addressed the media, expressing concern over the recurring violence targeting the same residence. He noted that on this occasion, new occupants had recently moved in, residing in the house for less than a month.

The police have confirmed that the incident was targeted and contained, reassuring the public of their safety. Despite the previous shootings on Sept. 7, Sept. 24, and Oct. 25 last year, no injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made in connection with any of the incidents.

In response to the situation, heightened patrols will be conducted in the neighborhood, with investigators seeking any potential surveillance or dashcam footage from residents to aid in the investigation.

As the inquiry progresses, nearby roads are anticipated to remain closed for an extended duration.

Individuals with relevant information or footage are urged to reach out to the York Regional Police.
