A pedestrian who was hit by an impaired driver on Friday has passed away, the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) tells 1130 NewsRadio.
Police say they were called to the area of Emerson Street and Simon Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m.

When they arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was then taken to hospital.
The driver was arrested at the scene. She has been released pending a full investigation, which police say could take several months.
