An assault in Surrey has sent one person to the hospital.
According to police, Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOU) officers responded to the incident, which occurred at a residence near 96th Avenue and 151st Street.
“One person has gone to the hospital with unknown injuries,” Sgt. Lindsey Houghton told 1130 NewsRadio.
The incident caused traffic delays on both roads.
No additional information has been provided.
The BC Emergency Health Service says that they received a call at 8:25 p.m. and responded with two paramedics who transported one person to the hospital.
However, it did not share any details on the conditions of the injured person.
