Police investigate toddler death after falling from North York high-rise apartment

A toddler has died after falling from a high-rise apartment building in North York on Mother’s Day.

Emergency crews were called to an apartment building in the Don Mills Road and Graydon Hall Drive area just before 12:30 p.m.

Toronto police say a toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.

“This investigation is still ongoing and in the early stages,” a police spokesperson tells CityNews. “We do not have any further information to share at this time.”
