The MURAL Festival is set to return to Montreal on Thursday, transforming Saint-Laurent Boulevard into a massive open-air art gallery for its 14th edition.
Running through June 14, the festival has announced eight additional visual artists who will contribute new works to Montreal’s urban landscape, including Projet TYXNA, Omar Bernal, Isadora Ayesha, Korb, M. Roboto, Bibi Una, La Fureur du Wragon and PsyQu33n Medusa.
The annual event will feature live mural painting, eight free Block Parties, guided art tours and the return of the popular Secret Walls competition, where artists face off in live “paint battles” before a public audience.
Festivalgoers can also participate in free graffiti lettering workshops and Street Chalk activities at Parc du Portugal throughout the festival.
Organizers say this year’s event will once again transform the Main into a vibrant hub for art, music and community, offering a wide range of free activities for visitors of all ages.
The MURAL Festival runs from June 4 to 14 along Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
