29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Clings to Life After Horrific Multi-Vehicle Smash-Up in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash in Montreal’s Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough on Friday evening. The incident occurred at the intersection of Boulevard de l’Acadie and Rue Saint-Roch, prompting a swift response from Montreal police (SPVM) following multiple 911 calls.

The motorcyclist, who suffered significant lower-body injuries, was quickly taken to the hospital but remained conscious throughout. Fortunately, by 10 p.m., medical professionals confirmed that the injured individual’s condition had stabilized, and his life was no longer at risk, as stated by SPVM spokesperson Johany Charland.

According to authorities, the collision took place when a sedan traveling south on Boulevard de l’Acadie attempted to turn onto Rue Saint-Roch, resulting in a collision with the oncoming motorcycle. The impact of the crash also led the sedan to hit a second vehicle that was stationary on Saint-Roch Street.

Fortunately, the two drivers involved, aged 69 and 29 respectively, emerged from the incident unharmed.

The investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
