Toronto authorities are seeking assistance from the community in identifying two individuals accused of robbing a subway passenger and threatening him with a knife last month.
The incident took place at Warden Station in the Warden Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area around 7 p.m. on June 6. Reports indicated that two unknown suspects were involved in the robbery.
According to investigators, the victim, who had boarded the subway train at Kennedy Station, was targeted by the suspects when they entered the same train car at Warden Station. Allegedly, the suspects approached the victim from behind and stole his jewelry upon reaching the station.
Police stated that one of the suspects brandished a knife and threatened the victim. When the victim tried to pursue the suspects, they issued death threats. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any physical harm.
The first suspect is a male aged between 18 and 25 years, with curly black hair, a moustache, and goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey Nike zip-up jacket, black pants, and white shoes. The second suspect is also a male aged between 18 and 25 years, last seen wearing a grey “Hellstar Tour” hoodie, black jeans, and black shoes.
