A scuba diver has died after being in distress while diving near Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver, say police.
On Sunday around 10:45 a.m., West Vancouver Police were informed of a scuba diver in distress.
West Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services, BC Emergency Health Services Air Ambulance and other divers all tried to save the man’s life.
The man, in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the park.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances related to the man’s sudden death.
The BC Coroners Service is now investigating.
