Hydro-Québec’s Free Heat Pump Registration Closes for 2026-27 Season
Hydro-Québec has seen overwhelming interest in its free heat pump offer, prompting the closure of registrations for the 2026-27 season after reaching the maximum capacity to serve 20,000 households. While the free heat pump offer is no longer accepting registrations, both the LogisVert program and the Quebec government’s Éconologis program are still open for participation.
For those who have already submitted their registration forms, Hydro-Québec is currently processing applications and will be contacting eligible households to schedule an Éconologis home visit to further streamline the process.
This initiative, launched in late June, targets low- and modest-income households, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their home’s energy efficiency through the installation of free heat pumps.
