Montreal authorities are currently looking into an incident where gunshots were fired at a residence in the neighborhood of Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce early Friday morning.
According to the SPVM, a call was made to 911 at approximately 2:50 a.m. reporting shots fired on Méridian Avenue close to Ponsard Avenue.
Upon their arrival, police discovered multiple bullet holes at the front of the house.
Witnesses claimed to have seen a suspect firing in the direction of the home before quickly leaving the vicinity.
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and there have been no reports of any injuries stemming from the incident.
Law enforcement officials, along with the K9 unit, are actively investigating the area. The case remains under investigation.
