Authorities in Markham have reported that a home care nurse is facing allegations of sexual assault involving a nursing student under his guidance.
The 58-year-old individual held the position of a nurse preceptor, responsible for mentoring and overseeing the development of new nurses in the field.
According to law enforcement officials, the man accompanied the student on multiple home visits as part of her educational program.
Allegations suggest that following these visits, he took the student to a secluded area and allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior.
Armin Azizi-Mehr, aged 58, has been formally charged with sexual assault following investigations.
In a bid to identify potential additional victims, authorities have shared the suspect’s photograph with the public.
