An elderly pedestrian, aged 62, was quickly taken to the hospital on Friday evening following a collision with a TTC streetcar.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the junction of King Street East and St. Lawrence Street, where emergency responders were summoned in response to a collision resulting in personal injury.
According to investigators, the pedestrian was walking northbound on the road when the eastbound 504 King streetcar collided with them.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries and was urgently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
