Montreal Manhunt: Police Pursue Suspect in Riveting RDP Attempted Murder Case

Montreal authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an alleged attempted murder in Rivière-des-Prairies earlier this spring.

The incident took place on May 18 at 9:15 p.m. when police responded to a report of a person wounded by a sharp object at the intersection of Élie-Beauregard Avenue and Perras Boulevard. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a 49-year-old man with injuries to his upper and lower body, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital.

Details surrounding the armed assault are currently unclear, as stated by the SPVM in a recent news release.

Police have released images of the suspect, described as approximately six-foot-one to six-foot-five tall, with black hair styled in shoulder-length dreadlocks. At the time of the incident, the individual was dressed in a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white shoes.
