This two-day extravaganza will unite talented artists, musicians, DJs, food vendors, local artisans, and BIPOC-owned businesses at the bustling parking lot of Macallans Pub.
Excitingly, Island Fête is teaming up with the Lindsay Place Alumni Foundation’s Concerts for Compassion Jamboree for an unforgettable experience on September 5 and September 6.
The lively festivities will begin on Saturday with the Concerts for Compassion Jamboree from 3 to 9 p.m., featuring live music, entertainment, scrumptious food, and engaging community activities that promise a day of enjoyment. Don’t forget to secure your tickets for this part of the event.
On Sunday, Island Fête takes center stage from 1 to 9 p.m. with free admission for all. Embracing the spirit of the Caribbean, the festival aims to showcase the rich culture through tantalizing cuisine, soulful music, artistic expressions, and support for local businesses.
Attendees can look forward to indulging in authentic Caribbean flavors from various food vendors, being entertained by live performances by talented Montreal artists and DJs, and exploring a marketplace that celebrates BIPOC-owned businesses, local artisans, and visionary entrepreneurs.
For families, there will be a range of activities including bouncy castles (from noon to 6 p.m.) and delightful face painting sessions (from noon to 5 p.m.).
