The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced a disruption in subway service on Line 2 following an incident involving an injury on the tracks.
Around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the TTC posted on social media that subway operations had been halted between Ossington and St. George stations. In response, shuttle buses have been arranged to assist commuters during the service disruption.
The exact nature of the incident causing the injury is still unclear, although Toronto police were called to Bathurst Station to investigate what has been referred to as a “subway disruption.”
This latest disruption on Line 2 comes on the heels of an earlier incident that affected Line 6 Finch West, which was temporarily shut down between Finch West and Humber College stations due to a system failure. Service on Line 6 has since resumed.
