Among those who have added their names to the letter is Louise De Sousa, who tragically lost her 18-year-old daughter Anastasia in the shooting that took place on September 13, 2006. De Sousa and others are urging the Carney government to fulfill three critical commitments: enact a comprehensive ban on assault-style firearms, eliminate their circulation, address loopholes related to large-capacity magazines, and enhance oversight of handgun exemptions.
