Storm Wreaks Havoc: AC/DC’s Rogers Stadium Concert Cancelled

The AC/DC concert that was set to rock Rogers Stadium on Sept. 16 has been called off due to significant damage sustained by the venue during a recent storm.

Rogers Stadium officials have confirmed that all original ticket holders will receive full refunds automatically through Ticketmaster.

For those who bought resale tickets, the advice is to reach out to their original point of purchase for refund instructions.

Located in the Downsview Park area, the open-air stadium with a 50,000-person capacity suffered structural damage to its north grandstands, prompting a safety order from city authorities post-storm.

Local residents described the thunderstorm as intense and destructive, with one witness telling 680 NewsRadio, “It was very powerful, it was violent is what it was.”

Drone footage captured by CityNews revealed the extent of the destruction, showing twisted metal and debris strewn across the venue.
