A recent inquiry into the circulation of child exploitation material on various online platforms has led Toronto Police to make an arrest in connection with the disturbing incident.
Following reports of the alarming dissemination of such content, a search warrant was carried out in the Kipling Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West vicinity on Thursday, bringing about the detention of Navid Mohammed, aged 27.
Mohammed faces charges of accessing, possessing, and distributing illicit material related to child exploitation.
The suspect was brought before court for legal proceedings on Friday.
