Emergency responders rushed to the Armour Heights area in North York in the early hours of Sunday morning after receiving reports about a car colliding with a hydro pole. The incident occurred close to the intersection of Bathurst Street and Laurelcrest Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m.
According to the police, a power transformer toppled onto the road, coming into contact with a bus. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the accident.
As a consequence of the collision, the surrounding area experienced a power outage.
