A tragic incident occurred on Monday when a fatal collision took place involving a wheelchair accessible taxi and another vehicle, resulting in the death of a 65-year-old man. The Durham Regional Police Service responded to the scene at Bayly Street East and Clayton Road shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Reports indicate that a passenger in the wheelchair accessible van sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Toronto. Sadly, the individual passed away at the hospital.
