Firefighters in the District of North Vancouver rushed to Deep Cove on Wednesday evening to combat a fire engulfing a waterfront residence on Strathcona Road near Strathcona Place.
The District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue team shared on social media, just before 8 p.m., that they were on-site and provided images of their efforts to quell the flames.
An update an hour later confirmed that the fire was now contained, with crews remaining present at the location to ensure safety.
