Starting September 28th until October 7th, a portion of Highway 15, known as Marie-Victorin Boulevard, is set to undergo nighttime closure, as announced by Transport Quebec. The closure will affect the southbound lanes stretching from the vicinity of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge to Tessier Street, to facilitate essential paving work.
During this period, the service road near the Samuel De Champlain Bridge leading to Highway 15 and the access ramp from eastbound Highway 10 (des Cantons-de-l’Est) will be inaccessible from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Monday and Thursday, and from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
For commuters in the area, a designated detour route will be established between De Rome Boulevard and Turenne Street. Drivers will be rerouted along Highway 10 eastbound, Taschereau Boulevard westbound, and de Rome Boulevard northbound.
