Over the weekend, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) responded to a targeted shooting incident at Spanish Banks.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., witnesses reported seeing two masked individuals firing shots at a parked vehicle in a beach parking lot.
In the aftermath, there was a significant police presence near the Sunset and Fraserview neighborhoods. Authorities cordoned off an SUV with minor damage on Prince Albert Street close to 49th Avenue.
A suspect was apprehended in East Vancouver by investigators.
Fortunately, no victims had been identified as of Saturday night, and the police are actively investigating the situation.
