In a concerning incident on Friday evening, a 12-year-old boy was swiftly taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in the peaceful Lawrence Park community.
The emergency responders were alerted to the intersection of Larence and Duplex Avenues shortly before 6:30 p.m. due to a distressing report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.
According to Toronto police, the young boy sustained injuries and was promptly sent to a trauma center in a stable state.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, cooperating with authorities.
