In the early hours of Sunday morning, chaos unfolded in The Annex as a multi-vehicle crash rattled Bathurst and Dupont Streets. Amidst the wreckage, emergency responders found a scene of mayhem and concern.
One of the vehicles involved in the collision struck a popular diner at the intersection, causing structural damage. Thankfully, engineers swiftly assessed the building and confirmed it was safe.
Although all drivers involved in the crash stayed put, one man in his 30s needed medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital.
The situation took a darker turn when authorities arrested a female driver on the scene for impaired driving, shedding light on a more troubling aspect of the incident.
While the specifics surrounding the crash remain shrouded in mystery, the repercussions of that fateful night are a stark reminder of the dangers of impaired driving.
