Penticton RCMP are currently investigating an assault that took place late Saturday night, around 11 p.m.
The incident occurred at Queens Park Elementary, where authorities responded to a report of an assault. Two individuals, including a youth, were transported to the hospital, according to police.
Although the investigation is still in its initial stages, the RCMP have indicated that it seems to be an isolated event with no immediate threat to public safety.
Authorities are appealing to any witnesses or individuals with video footage of the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
