Ontario Police Recover Body of Markham Man Who Fell Overboard in Lake Muskoka
The Ontario Provincial Police officers have tragically found the body of a 63-year-old man from Markham who fell off a boat into Lake Muskoka. The incident occurred on Saturday around 4:30 p.m., more than 20 kilometers north of Gravenhurst near Walker’s Point on Lake Muskoka.
A statement released by the OPP on Sunday afternoon confirmed that the man had fallen overboard. The OPP’s underwater search and recovery unit was able to locate the man, who was sadly pronounced dead. While the circumstances of the incident were not disclosed, the investigation is currently ongoing.
